Berks vs BNW was a great time! Honestly, it was the first time our club did this type of event with another club, so BNW was honored with that. I must agree with Bill, we sure did not have enough time to hang out and chat, and we were planning on staying for a dinner after the game. Perhaps that wasn’t conveyed effectively, but we will remedy that at the next event. I’m also willing to make a trip out to BNW again for some 1 on 1 action and hang out with the crew. Could even do this Sept 2nd. Would love to do an interview with Turn 8 as well if you guys would like that. All in all the battle was fun. My opinion, Berks blended well and fought as a team, where as it seemed to me like BNW was fighting 3 different battles instead of one. Some lucky dice at the right times sure helpled our cause as well. IMO, the MVPS should go to: BNW: Tau: Fire Warriors…they “captured” and HQ, the farseer. Also the last Hammerhead, as it did take out some big things. Ultra Marines: not much left, but had the thunderfire cannons lasted, they would have gotten my vote. For the Grey Knights, the command terminator unit with Grand Master shredded many orks and lucky for us, got tied up with the SW dread, or that would have gone much differently. For Berks, we had a lot going for us. Eldar: could be an MVP toss up between Eldrad and the Seer Council, that drew so much fire power that it kept BNW off most of our army with shooting. Space Wolves, you could vote for Logan Grimnar for being a beast, but the SW Dreadnought that held up Vulkan and the GK Grand Master lasted long enough for the Ork Stormboyz to finish them off. For the Orks: Stormboyz killed an Ultramarine tactical unit, captured the Grand Master, put 5 unsaved wounds on that squad, and than finished off a terminator squad and claimed an objective. The SW Rune Priest did managed to thrwart many psychic powers as he did. Skorponox, well, just becauase, it’s the coolest looking deff dred ever. Ork the Tankbustas, only because the Nob throwing a bomb-squig into the engines of the Storm Raven, destroying it.
