Episode 34: StormRaisins
Why StormRaisins? You’ll have to listen to the end to find out! (or skip ahead I guess … but don’t do that) Anyway, a bit long with this episode again but it’s packed full of goodies, like … DAEMONS!!!! Or rather a Chaos Daemons codex review by our very own Dave. Also, later in the episode we interview Mike Biancone from the Berks Gaming Club about the upcoming BSA4! (that’s Berks Spring Assault 4 for those not “in the know”) We get all the details that you probably should already know by now but … um … interview! Plus our news and rumors section as well as a BSA4 playtest Battle Report, enjoy!

Episode 32: Better Late Than Never
Sorry Folks, I did it again. But as the title says, better late than never so we present to you the glorious, if somewhat late, Episode 32! The big story here is twofold: First, we review the Dark Angels codex and give you our take on the new rules, and Second, it’s Bill’s first turn as Command of a Codex review! As per our usual theme now, we also bring you a Dark Angel themed Battle Report to coincide with our Codex review. Of course we also have our usual news and rumors and our Q&A this week is actually a rules question … so we’re bringing a Rules of … Q&A! Please, enjoy responsibly.

Episode 29: Tanksgiving
Happy Tanksgiving everyone! What do you mean there’s no such thing? Just look at the pictures! It looks like that table is being invaded by croissants, terrifying. Anyway, more on that in the show as well as the exciting conclusion of Opy and Dave’s second half of the Chaos Space Marine codex review. In this episode Opy takes us through the Chaos units. We also cover the news and bring you another Chaos themed Battle Report, this time between Opy’s Dark Mechanicus army and Andy’s Dark Eldar(icus). Epic Turn 8 battle, fight! Additionally, for the first time in Turn 8 history, we finally have a Q&A section, huzzah! One of our listeners and Facebook followers had a question for the crew so we took the time during this episode to answer it in the best way we can. Hope it helps!

Episode 28: Sandy, Harbinger of Chaos
After one major and then one minor delay, we finally bring you our Chaos Space Marines codex review!! Well, part one of it anyway, there’s a lot to cover after all. In this episode Opy takes us through the Chaos specific Warlord Traits, Psychic Powers, and the Armory. We also cover quite a bit of news and bring you another Chaos related rule. Who doesn’t love a good challenge? Next episode we’ll conclude the codex review as we cover the units. I would also like to apologize for the lateness of this particular show. As some of you know we delayed our recording due to hurricane Sandy which, if you don’t know for some reason, recently ravaged the east coast of the U.S., particularly New Jersey. Most of us here lost power for at least a bit (or a lot more) but were otherwise OK, our trees however … In addition to that delay, work and other personal things on my end delayed the debut of this episode from Friday till now, but anyway, we’re back with more quality podcast programing for your ear holes, enjoy!

Episode 13: Business As Usual
::Looks for Imotekh:: Is he gone? Good. With the Necrons out of the way we’re back to business as usual here at Turn 8 HQ. Of course that doesn’t actually mean we’re done with old clanky face but we can finally talk about other things … like Faith And Fire by James Swallow. Also, we get back to the Games Workshop news and rumors we’ve missed in the passed several weeks, plus, this week’s battle report finally pairs up a classic fight between the Space Marines and the Orks, so go ears on with Episode 13!
One last thing, you don’t happen to know any Ultramarines fans out there do you? Well they might want to listen in on This Random Time Period in 40k … something about a limited edition … something …
Plus don’t forget the usual great content including the Rules Of Engagement …

Episode 12: Come With Me If You Want To Live
OK, enough teasing, it’s finally here, the moment you’ve all been waiting for … Hello Kitty Island Adventure Review! … err … Necron Codex Breakdown! We’ve finally made it to our first full, official Codex release since we started this Podcast (Sisters of Battle White Dwarf getting an honorable mention) so we needed some help in the form of special guest host, Mike. As to be expected, there’s a lot to cover so this episode is a little on the long side. We apologize for that as we’d usually like to keep it around two hours but even after some drastic measures it’s still a biggun so brace yourselves. On the plus side, we broke up the full Codex Breakdown around this week’s (Necron laced) Battle Report, to give you, our fine listening audience, a little break from all the new Necron nuggets. You’re welcome!
Please note that due to the length of the Breakdown there will be no news and rumors or Rules Of Engagement segments in this episode. Never fear though, they will return next episode!

Episode 11: Lucky Number Eleven
The Necrons! … can wait, sorry. As mentioned before we’ve postponed our Necron blow-out until next episode to give us plenty of time to soak it all in for you fine folks. Until then, however, we’ve got some great content here as we cover our day at the Mechanicon and finally get to our review of the Space Marine DLC: Exterminatus. And maybe, if you’ve been good little boys and girls, you can catch a sneak peek (listen?) of next episode’s Battle Report. Tune in and find out!

Episode 9: Reading Rainbow
We know how to read! And so we’re bringing you our very first book review from the Black Library, Mitchel Scanlon’s 15 hours. It is a bit of an older book but, being a book, it’s not like you have to worry about the effects looking dated. We’re not doing review scores on this one so you’ll just have to listen to what we say and decide for yourself if the book sounds right for you. Don’t worry though, this one isn’t an hour and a half long like Space Marine. Also, the Sisters of Battle get another shot in the spotlight for this episode’s Battle Report, squaring off against a mysterious new enemy … oooooh. The news might be a bit brief (thanks to Games Workshops lack of Necron info) but there’s still a full show of good stuff to be had!

Episode 8: Space Marine!
Wow, that’s a whole lotta episode right there! Well we had quite a lot to say in our review of the new Space Marine video game not to mention this week’s Battle Report featuring the Sisters of Battle. That’s right people, we give Space Marine a thorough going over from top to bottom with review scores from all of us as a reward, yay!. Plus, Bill dusts off the old ladies and squares off against Opy in a true test of the new White Dwarf Codex. You won’t want to miss this one …

Episode 5: Sistas
Sisters of Battle that is, the White Dwarf is here, the codex is fresh and we’re all over it. We compare new to the old Codex and Bill sprinkles in some of this thoughts as a current Witch Hunters player. Also in this episode, Turn 8′s very first review: Kill Team. Bill and I discuss the game, our thoughts and give it a rating.
